Technological product development management
This is a structured and continuous process that allows the visualization of new forms of creating value for a product, incorporating new technologies and responding to new demands from an increasingly more dynamic market.
Product Design
Strives for design excellence in products, researching and analyzing trends; developing products that combine functionality and aesthetic and ergonomic values, associated to the application of materials and processes that are suitable to the viability of production, whether on an industrial scale or in small lots.
Mechanical and micromechanical design
Mechanical design consists in the initial conception, material specification and manufacturing processes, detailing and determining the size of components, preparing prototypes, conducting tests, reviews and verification and validation of the product. Only after these steps are concluded is the product qualified for the next step, which is production in series. Micromechanical design works in the development of small, high-precision mechanical components. It is generally associated to dynamic systems, such as actuators, drives, transmission systems etc.
Electronic / microelectronic / embedded software design
This area designs analog and micro-processed electronic equipment for automation and control of machines and processes, as well as products for data collection and telemetry. It develops embedded software for microprocessed solutions and technological updating of existing products.
Technologies on tactile surfaces
Tactile surfaces have taken on an increasingly important role among human-machine interactive devices, in particular those capable of detecting and tracing users multiple simultaneous touches. CERTI has a number of patents for technologies for multi-touch surfaces, having developed devices that were integrated in products in the form of large and small interactive tables.
Sensors and signal acquisition systems
The measurement of physical sizes and chemical parameters is of essential importance in a wide range of applications, such as the control of industrial processes, environmental monitoring and many others. CERTI has the capacity to specify, design and implement a wide variety of sensors and signal acquisition systems, developing solutions suitable to the client's specific demands.
Computer vision system
The use of embedded computers and processors to analyze images and video in real time is an important tool in applications such as: automated inspection of assembly lines, vehicle traffic monitoring and control, security systems, and many others. CERTI has the ability to specify and develop computer vision systems, from embedded hardware and software to logarithms for image analysis.
