CERTI Foundation

The Celplay connsole was developed with the challenge of creating an innovative concept for a toy, mounted on the platform of a cellular phone, providing communication and edu-tainment functionalities, with unique characteristics for use and a graphic interface. The project was based on ludic educational concepts and was designed in the shape of Brazilian animals to be suitable for children from 4 -7. The work involved the mechanical design and search for materials and processes that are more suitable to the product needs; package design and visual communication for different modalities of product sales; emphasis on safety and in-depth study of norms and certifications; application and validation of ergonomic concepts; development of embedded software and participation in the idealization of games. CERTI also defined the requirements for the integration and traceability of productive processes and developed and implemented all of the production programming logistics. The development schedule for the innovative product was 10 months. The Celplay console was released on the Brazilian market in 2006 and is now sold internationally, adopting another business model.
