CERTI Foundation

Since 2007, CERTI has invested in the study of SaaS – Software as a Service technology. As a result of the competencies it has developed, CERTI was initially contracted by Datasul for consulting and strategic guidance about SaaS technologies and platforms. The challenge was to establish  a totally integrated and automated environment, with minimum human intervention, for the exposition of products on the web, the realization of test-drives or “tasting” of applications, subscription (purchase) of the applications with online payment and integration with Brazilian and international online payment solutions. The new company Totvs-Datasul hired CERTI for two development projects with SaaS requirements: “Marketplace” and “Fleet Management.” The Marketplace Project created a platform for commercialization of SaaS solutions. To execute this project, the CERTI staff used Maestro, the web solution development framework created by CERTI. As a result, Totvs-Datasul was able to rely on sophisticated infrastructure for online sale of SaaS applications, totally integrated to the company’s corporate systems – ERP, CRM and the Corporate Portal. In addition to the initial forecast, Marketplace also became the channel for sales of training, outsourcing packages and other solutions, aggregating even more value to Totvs.
